Congratulating Art Allen, 2021 IRSC Foundation’s Entrepreneur of the Year!

At A&G Concrete Pools, we’re proud to support a team of upstanding, ambitious individuals in the Treasure Coast community. Today, we’re proud to recognize our founder, Art Allen, for winning the IRSC Foundation’s 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Please join us as we celebrate Art and his remarkable achievements as an entrepreneur!

From Humble Beginnings To Award-Winning Excellence
Art was born in San Diego, California. He moved to Florida in the 1970s and in 1977 went to work in a family-owned swimming pool business. He learned the business from the ground up and worked in every aspect of pool construction. Through this experience, he noticed a lack of quality in workmanship and service in the industry. So, in 1987, Art founded A&G Concrete Pools, Inc. in his garage, aiming to raise the standard of the pool construction industry.
From these humble beginnings, Art has remained true to his original vision and the values that A&G was built on. A&G has grown from a garage-based startup to an award-winning leader in the multi-billion dollar international pool building industry. Today, Art continues to pursue his passion for building the best swimming pools by expanding A&G and serving his Treasure Coast customers.

Perseverance in Entrepreneurship
By recognizing the essential role that entrepreneurship plays in strengthening local communities and their economic success, Art demonstrates the critical importance of a strong commitment to community outreach and giving back.
Over the past 30 years, Art’s journey as an entrepreneur has had times of joy and more than a few setbacks. During the joyous times, it’s often easier to have the strength, courage, and motivation to persevere. However, in difficult times, we can all learn Art’s tenacity.
Everyone here at A&G is incredibly proud of Art and all that he’s overcome as a thriving, community-oriented business leader. Congratulations, Art!
