On March 19th, the Humane Society of St. Lucie hosted its inaugural signature fundraiser, the Blue Jean Ball. As the premier sponsor and co-host for the event, A&G Concrete Pools was proud to support this lively benefit for homeless dogs and cats.
The sold-out event took place at Pelican Yacht Club in Fort Pierce and included a variety of attractions, including food and cocktails, live and silent auctions, music, dancing, and a Las Vegas-style “Cat-sino”. Sponsors and community members enjoyed games of roulette, slots, and blackjack during the Western-themed fundraiser.
To further support homeless dogs and cats in the community, A&G Concrete Pools issued a matching challenge for all donations to the humane society. A&G matched every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000 through March 19th, 2022. All donations went towards the shelter, which provides compassionate care for thousands of cats and dogs in the area.
After being delayed twice due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Blue Jean Ball was a remarkable success, raising over $55,000. The entire team at A&G Concrete Pools is thrilled to have sponsored the event and admire the humane society’s dedication to providing safe shelter for homeless animals.
